This is another book that I just finished.. and yes I have started the 2nd book :)
So what can I say about this without giving too much away.. Well it's about a GodKiller..hehehe, but you already knew that.
Spoiler free synopsis: Kissen is escorting a little girl who is attached to a God to a city to become detached. They are met by a "knight" and this is the story of their travels, complete with mystery, betrayal and death!!!
This was an enjoyable read, the story itself was enough to keep my attention. The is noticeable character development, but it isn't written well enough that you get to see the progress, just the surprise that they grew as a person.
The world building was myopic, so you don't get a feel for anything that isn't right in front of the characters, but again it was enough to keep my attention.
It was a very enjoyable read that I didn't get bored with, just was wanting more from the story. It was good enough for me to continue on with the series... Maybe in book 2 the author grows with the characters :)
